I’ve seen this from both sides.
Before founding Chayil Consulting, I spent years working within complex organisations — supporting senior leaders, delivery teams, engineers, and technical specialists through change, growth, and transformation. I saw talented managers struggling not because they lacked intelligence or commitment, but because no one had shown them how to manage people, lead conversations, handle conflict, or build trust.
